Bio
Prin RODRIGUEz.
Prin Rodriguez is a Peruvian photographer whose work explores identity and family legacy through experimental and sensory narratives that intertwine individual and collective memory, offering alternative ways of sharing and preserving knowledge. Her images often blur the line between reality and fantasy, whether through constructed narratives based on real events or through visual strategies that shift the viewer's perception. She is co-founder of the Pariacaca collective—named after one of Peru’s pre-colonial deities—which led the preservation project Archivo Harawi: 50 Years of Visual Anthropology in Cusco between 2020 and 2023, and presented the video installation Quyllur α at the 2025 Bienal de Fotografía de Porto. Rodriguez has been recognized by the Prince Claus Fund’s Mentorship Awards for Cultural & Artistic Responses to the Environmental Crisis, the World Press Photo 6x6 Global Talent Program, and the VII Mentor Program. She has also participated in the New York Portfolio Review, received a scholarship from Proyecto Imaginario, and was a finalist in the V National Photography Salon in Lima, Peru. Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in diverse photography platforms and publications around the world.
